High Holy Days

“The gates of Heaven are open, and so are our hearts—together, we rise in prayer, reflection, and song.”

Main Sanctuary

In the majestic Main Sanctuary—exclusively for Shaar members—you’ll take part in a meaningful and inspiring service led by Rabbi Adam Scheier, Rabbi Yehoshua Ellis, Rabba Briah Cahana, and Yosi Even-Hen. The experience is elevated by the musical leadership of Cantor Gideon Zelermyer and the Shaar Hashomayim Choir, conducted by Conor O’Neil, Director of Music. Together, they create a sacred atmosphere where tradition, prayer, and soul-stirring music come together in powerful harmony.

Parallel Services

For those seeking a more intimate, participatory environment, the Parallel Service offers a vibrant and welcoming space for prayer, song, and reflection. Led by the charismatic team of Rabbi Yonah Berman and Cantor Michael Moshkovitz, this service features the full liturgy and places a special emphasis on communal singing and engagement. Open to both members and non-members, seating in the Parallel Service is open and unassigned, creating a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere that encourages active participation and heartfelt connection.

High Holy Day Family Experience

The High Holy Day Family Experience led by talented educator Marnie Stein is an engaging, inclusive, and interactive service for children of all ages and their families. The service is offered from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM both days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and includes stories, activities, and songs.
